In preparation for creating our digipak, it is important to be prepared with the different themes we want to accur throughout all of our products, creating a direct link between them all. For this, we used a website which we found useful for our AS media coursework, http://www.dafont.com/, the website itself is purely dedicated to downloading lots of different fonts. We researched other music albums within a similar genre to Singer Songwriter, and decided that a clear block font will look effective against the digipak photos and that it will fit in with the usual conventions of a singer songwriter album. When looking, we found a variety of different suitable fonts, here are some examples of the fonts we found:
When comparing the different fonts, we decided that the fonts Sketch Block and Universal College were the two most suitable for the theme and style we wanted to create throughout our digipaks and advert. We will use the Sketch Block font on our digipack, and combine the 2 fonts on our advert.
